Our Story
Meet Our Founder, Jordan
My name is Jordan and I am the Founder and CEO of Micanna. Want to learn more about us? First, in October 2018 when Cannabis was legalized for recreation in Canada, I became disappointed with what was offered to me in dispensaries. I then started The Marijuana Group. The framework and regulations put in place led to expensive edibles that were low in THC / CBD content and did not consider health-conscious ingredients. Next, I spent months in the kitchen testing recipes with a gummy bear mold from Amazon and ingredients from the local store. Finally, I innovated The Marijuana Group’s first DIY Weed Edibles Kit.Â

With a goal to improve the Cannabis edible experience, The Marijuana Group and Jordan launched their prototype kits. To proceed, we began collecting feedback from the community. After NowThis took notice of a video on Youtube, The Marijuana Group expanded its product offering and then began further working on recipes and packaging.Â

Next, after getting feedback from our community for over a year, we once again updated our product line and released a fresh look. Our new kits were built based on the communities feedback and this would not have been possible without such amazing group members!

To conclude, you mean the world to us, so we are taking everything we learned from The Marijuana Group and making into something even better! Finally in February, Micanna will be able to enhance your edible experience through DIY vegan and gluten-free Cannabis edible making kits.
